rule domain [English]
n. ~ PaaST (RuleDomain) · The identification of the classes of objects and actions involved in application of a preservation rule, other objects that function as controls in application of the rule, and the actor(s) authorized to participate in rule execution, and their authorized role(s).
- PaaST (1.0) 2017 (†860 p. 42): RuleDomain has three types of parts: Actor, PreservationAction and PreservationTarget, all associated by aggregation. There is not necessarily any Actor actively involved in the execution of a PreservationRule, but there may be more than one. Accordingly, a RuleDomain contains zero or more instances of Actor. (†2589)
