  • personal cloud : Analysis showed that the topic of usage of “clouds” for solving personally-oriented tasks is almost absent in Russian research literature. Those few works that are devoted to personal cloud services consider them to be a tool for solving applied tasks, for example, in scientific or research activity, or as available for an ordinary user, non-specialized environment for mid-term digital data preservation. . . . ¶ Taking into account the information gathered by our literature review and our understanding of the research theme we worked out the following tentative definition: the personal cloud is a place for data storage that can be used for solving of personal tasks.
