Ontology-Mediated Historical Data Modeling: Theoretical and Practical Tools for an Integrated Construction of the Past

Medieval historians and archaeologists from Catalonia have taken the Constructed Past Theory proposed by Kenneth Thibodeau in an article in Information last year and applied it in their effort to develop an ontology for data produced in research in the historical sciences; and have done so following the methodology of the Ganser/Michetti ontology from InterPARES. It will be published in the forthcoming April issue of Information on digital humanities, but early access is available at https://www.mdpi.com/2078-2489/11/4/182.
